My name is Lynette Down. I have worked at St Matthew’s Catholic School for 29 years and I have been sewing the girls school dresses/culottes for 30 years.

Roles: ORS and ELA Teacher Aide, Librarian (including Lucky Book Club and Duffy Books), Office Administrator, Staff Trustee and Support Staff NZEI rep, and KidsCan Coordinator.

Professional Learning: Teacher Aide Certificate (Massey University), Special Needs, Supporting Pasifika Bilingualism, Library iCloud and Walk By Faith (Catholic Diocese).

I believe I have a good relationship with all the children and their parents within the school and parish community.

Working at St Matthew’s is such a pleasure, and I hope to be there for many years to come.
